"When we set out to build Reliance Hospital, our goal was to build more than another building on Islamabad's healthcare landscape — a hospital defined by the quality of the care it delivers: qualified doctors, trained nursing staff, advanced biomedical equipment, and a complete range of critical care units patients could trust with their lives.
Today, that vision has gone further still. Reliance Hospital is now the first hospital in Pakistan to treat patients with Artificial Intelligence validating every step of diagnosis and treatment — achieved through D-RIGHT Technologies (Pvt) Limited in Pakistan, in partnership with our foreign technology partner, ClinTa USA. People keep asking me how we pulled this off in a matter of months, so let me walk through it honestly.
It started with a simple observation on the floor: even our best doctors were working under real pressure, long shifts, high patient loads, and nothing was standing beside them to double check a diagnosis or a treatment plan in real time. We didn't want a pilot project sitting in a corner. We wanted something running inside the hospital, on real patients, from day one.
Before we let it touch a single patient file, it went through a technical board evaluation and then formal approval from our board of directors. Once that was done, we didn't roll it out one ward at a time. We went across every clinical department at once, NICU, PICU, MICU, SICU, dialysis, the operation theatre, all of it, because a validation system only earns trust if it's consistent everywhere.
The honest answer to "how" is that our own clinical staff did the heavy lifting. The technology gave them a second set of eyes. They gave it the judgment to trust.
